Research direction

The payload names no files, so start by reproducing the steps in the issue: create a navigation layer, set Tileset to pathmap-tiles, then press F while drawing. Search the editor's keyboard handling for the fill shortcut and for the code that jumps to a tileset by its first letter. Done when pressing F while drawing leaves the tileset unchanged, and the letter-jump still works once the Tileset dropdown is open.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Pressing "F" to fill tiles while drawing can force the tileset to become final-crystal.

Example scenario:

  1. Create new navigation layer.
  2. Set "Tileset" to pathmap-tiles.
  3. Start drawing. Press "F" to fill a section.

As a result, the tileset is changed to final-crystal instead of the desired pathmap-tiles. This is annoying and happens to me quite a lot.

I think it would be ideal if the feature to jump to the alphabetical tileset option when pressing a key would only happen when the selection dropdown menu is opened.

Image

This issue only happens if you click on the "Tileset" selection dropdown first so it often happens right after creating a new layer.
