Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by tracing how BluePyMM creates a database for a subtype and how a previous run is selected. Done means a subtype-only run can merge its data into an existing database without rerunning unrelated subtypes, with coverage for the merge behavior.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

enhancement

Running BluePyMM can be expensive.
When one wants to fix an issue in e.g. 1 me-type, it would be good to have the ability to run BluePyMM only for that subtype, and merge the data into a db of previous run.
