Start with the traceback through Evtx/Views.py, especially the recursive rendering paths at lines 126, 154, 166, 176, 191, and 204. Reproduce the failure using the event log file pulled from memory; the payload does not include that file, so ask the reporter for it before diagnosing. Done means the input no longer triggers an IndexError and its XML output is correct.
