The payload names no source file, so start from the userdel binary's handling of the -r flag and find where the mail spool and home directory removal happens. Reproduce by creating a user, deleting its home or mail spool, and running userdel -r against it, then compare with upstream passwd's output. Done when a not-found message is printed for each missing path and the output matches upstream's wording.
