The report links to a run in the scverse integration-testing repository, which holds the actual install error for Python 3.12, so start there and find the first failing pip or dependency step. Then try installing PyDESeq2 in a clean Python 3.12 environment to reproduce it. Done means the install succeeds on 3.12 and the daily integration job passes again.
