What happened
Before activating RemoveMacAI, in a web browser, you could go to Share > Copy Link, and a richly-formatted HTML link with the page <title> as the display text, would be copied to the clipboard.
Now, the HTML formatting and title is broken, and the URL does not paste correctly at all. Pasting into a simple (non-rich) plaintext field is unaffected.
The Copy Link function appears to be invoked via the Apple share sheet. I am able reproduce the issue on Firefox 159 and Safari 27.0.1.
I have been unsuccessful at repairing the issue by using the Undo feature, and rebooting. I have no conclusive evidence that RemoveMacAI caused this, but, it's the only system change I've made recently.
Testing:
- Go to a website like https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/mac-help/mh40614/mac
- Press Share > Copy Link or Share > Copy
- Paste clipboard to an HTML editor
