The report says only that workspace parsing never finishes; it names no file, no log and no reproduction, so the first step is to ask the reporter for a C/C++ extension log with "C_Cpp.loggingLevel" set to Debug, the workspace size and the exact folders opened. Parsing runs in the extension's language-server process, so whoever picks this up must identify where the parser blocks before any code change can be scoped. Done looks like a reproduced hang with a log showing where it stalls — not a patch yet.
