What to build
correct gives a lesson the right level of enforcement. Behavior that must happen every time gets a hook, a level between types and tests. When a rule alone keeps being skipped, correct reaches for a hook. A review-bot finding that shows up in a third PR becomes a mistake class: first a rule, then a lint or a test if it keeps happening. correct also protects the files that hold the guardrails themselves, so an agent cannot pass a check by editing a hook config, a CI workflow, or a lint config.
