Start by locating the existing but unused Facepile and TypingDots components and the chat view that renders messages; check issue #5 (and #6 for feature-parity notes from old Ace) for the intended UX. Then wire the chat's presence/typing state into the chat view so the participants and typing indicators render inside a chat, distinct from lobby-wide presence. Done when a chat shows who is present and who is typing, with the two components actually mounted and fed by real state.
