Prioritized Improvements
1. Missing high-value tests
- Empty-value semantics:
ACCESSIBLE=""andNO_COLOR=""must return false (source checks!= ""); currently untested. TERM="DUMB"(case sensitivity) returns false.- Combined variables (e.g.
ACCESSIBLE=1+TERM=xterm) return true. NO_COLOR=0still returns true (any value).

Import github.com/stretchr/testify/assert.
3. Table-driven / isolation refactor
Replace the ~25 lines of manual save/restore with t.Setenv, which restores automatically. Note t.Setenv sets (not unsets) variables, so set unused ones to "", which is equivalent since the source treats empty as unset (TERM empty != "dumb"):
