The issue does not name any files, tests or entry points, so start by finding the downstream test suite in the repository and reading what it currently asserts. The issue does not say what a stronger check should verify, so the first step is to ask the maintainers which analysis of the coverage output they want. at the moment "downstream tests" just test for "does it run?". Which is good, not not a lot. Maybe we can do more somehow? Analyze of the result is still "good"?
