[coverage] Conformance findings: METADATA-036

先从 tests/ 下 coverage PR diff 中失败的测试 METADATA-036 — getColumns with null catalog returns columns from every catalog in ONE request [sea] 开始，然后将预期行为与 databricks/databricks-jdbc PR #1580 进行比较。完成的标准是 Node.js 驱动程序针对 NULL catalog 请求在一次请求中返回所有 catalog 的列，并且 conformance test 变绿。

Summary

Surfaced by the multi-language coverage fan-out while conformance-testing these SPEC-IDs against databricks/databricks-sql-nodejs. Each finding is committed as an expected-failure (xfail) test in the coverage PR — the test asserts the CORRECT (post-fix) behavior and stays red until THIS driver (databricks/databricks-sql-nodejs) is fixed, then flips green as a tripwire.

Findings

• METADATA-036 [sea]: SEA getColumns with a NULL catalog never returns: kernel metadata path fails with "Statement execution timed out" after ~10min, instead of one all-catalogs columns request returning cross-catalog rows (Thrift conforms with a single GetColumns RPC)

Context

• The behavior was first fixed in a DIFFERENT driver — reference PR: https://github.com/databricks/databricks-jdbc/pull/1580 — which seeded the shared language-neutral spec. This issue tracks the same conformance gap in databricks/databricks-sql-nodejs; the reference PR is for cross-referencing the intended behavior, NOT a change to this repo.
