描述
Template c9da319 (components-web-app#155) replaced nitro.compressPublicAssets with a nitro:build:public-assets hook (precompressBuildAssets in app/nuxt.config.ts) that writes .br/.gz for /_nuxt only. compressPublicAssets also compressed everything in public/ at brotli 11 on every build; a 178 MB PDF there made a site's app build ~7 minutes.
To update:

public/is described: large downloads (PDFs, video) belong in the media bucket, notpublic/(build time, image size, and they stream through php's Caddy, #105).
