描述
In many mbio abundance vars, we have one data point. This leads to the ability to calculate trend lines with one point. If the user picks smoothed mean, plot.data returns an empty array for that trace. If the user picks best fit line, we return an array with one data point.
If plot.data sees only one data point, should it even calculate a line of best fit? Or just give a warning that we can't make a line from one point and then return an empty array?
