The reporter bisected the regression to the commit after d9a6366ea9ff118acb89a3a1cc25d4bae7d5181e, which is the first place to read the diff. The "music_ogg.rs" example sounds crackly when I run it.
The example works fine in this commit: d9a6366ea9ff118acb89a3a1cc25d4bae7d5181e.
The problem begins with the very next commit: 92643440022edaca116ca7ae8a5a21a3e2fd90c1.
The problem is better but is still present as of the latest commit (685e05765c2aff8fbb51e32cda5b18428d09ffbe). It's more obvious with some .ogg files than others. Maybe louder files are worse?
