Start by reproducing the report on LeanType 4.2.3: select the Noto Color Emoji .ttf file and open the emoji keyboard. Then trace the font-loading and emoji-keyboard entry points to find where the selected font affects displayed emoji. Done means the keyboard is no longer blank after loading that font.
