Amazon DynamoDB refuses DeleteTable on a table whose status is CREATING with 400 ResourceInUseException Attempt to change a resource which is still in use: Table is being created: <name>. ExtendDB serves it.

CreateTable, then DeleteTable while DescribeTable reports CREATING: 400 ResourceInUseException Attempt to change a resource which is still in use: Table is being created: <name>. After the table reaches ACTIVE the same DeleteTable answers 200.
ExtendDB
On Cassandra, main answers 200 with TableStatus CREATING and deletes the table; with #598 the answer is 200 with TableStatus DELETING, and the claim's condition (any status other than DELETING) keeps the acceptance on purpose, so this issue is where the change belongs. The other three backends were read, not run: none refuses on CREATING in delete_table. The sentence is absent from crates; the nearest message is Table is being created, updated, or deleted: <name>, which is a different one.
A restore target in CREATING is already refused with Table is being restored, which the service also does.
