What happens
In the new-experiment form, clearing a version's traffic share box and typing 34 makes the box show 034: the empty box falls back to 0 and the typed digits are appended. Selecting the text and typing over it shows 34 as expected.

In Chromium, on the dashboard at main (2026-10-28), typing into the emptied first share box read back 034 after 34 was typed.
Expected
An emptied box stays empty while focused, so typing 34 gives 34.
