Add temporary-fixture regression tests for refused calls and the exact effects of confirmed calls, and run them through the W9.1 CI infrastructure.

Context

The server accepts a confirmed argument, but tools/list does not declare it in tool schemas or expose the catalog confirmation requirement. Once tools execute operations, clients need an explicit and testable confirmation contract.

Scope

  • Classify the supported tools by read behavior, file writes, and manifest mutations.

  • Declare confirmed as a boolean where required and describe the confirmation requirement in host-visible metadata.

  • Require the host to obtain explicit user confirmation before setting confirmed; do not treat a model-generated value as independent proof of consent.

  • Enforce the gate before any side effects, consistently across execution paths.

  • Document the scope and limitations of confirmation and add regression coverage.

  • Add confirmation tests in the same PR as enforcement: assert filesystem state is unchanged for missing/false/invalid confirmation and that confirmed calls on temporary fixtures perform only the requested mutation. Run the tests through the W9.1 CI infrastructure.

Acceptance criteria

  • Discovery makes confirmation requirements visible to clients.

  • Missing, false, or invalid confirmation values block gated tools before filesystem changes.

  • A confirmed operation on a temporary fixture performs only the requested mutation.

  • Descriptions and tests distinguish reading data, writing generated artifacts, and modifying manifests.

  • The enforcement PR includes passing tests proving refusal before side effects and the exact effects of a confirmed operation; confirmation coverage is not deferred to W9.6.
