Hướng nghiên cứu

No file paths are given; start from the code path behind the 'High resolution wheel' option in LinearMouse's scrolling settings and from how device matching is re-established after wake or reconnect. The attached LinearMouse.log and linearmouse.json capture a full sleep/reconnect cycle, so compare device attach events across it. Done means high-resolution scrolling keeps the configured speed and acceleration after wake or a power cycle without refocusing settings. Verifying needs the G502 X PLUS and macOS.

Describe the bug

When using a G502 X PLUS via the USB wireless receiver with 'High resolution wheel' enabled, scrolling becomes sluggish and insensitive after

  • Leaving the computer idle / waking from sleep, or
  • Turning the physical power switch on the mouse off and back on

The issue temporarily resolves if I scroll with the built-in trackpad on my Macbook for a moment and return to the mouse (which produces a brief hypersensitive scroll burst before settling back into normal behavior), or if I refocus LinearMouse 'Scrolling' settings page. I only observed this issue after the enabling the 'High resolution wheel' option.

To reproduce
  1. Connect a Logitech G502 X PLUS via the wireless USB Receiver to a Macbook
  2. In LinearMouse scrolling settings for the mouse
    • Enable High resolution wheel
    • Enable Reverse scrolling
    • Set scrolling mode to Accelerated
    • Set scrolling acceleration to 0.3
    • Set scrolling speed to 0
  3. Leave the computer idle for a few minutes or let it sleep so the mouse enters sleep mode, or manually toggle the mouse's power switch off then back on
  4. Wake the computer (if needed) and begin scrolling with the mouse wheel
  5. Notice that scrolling becomes extremely sluggish and insensitive to wheel movement
Expected behavior

After reconnecting from power-off, sleep, or idle, or cycling the mouse's power switch, the mouse wheel should retain the configured scrolling behavior (smooth high-resolution movement and proper acceleration scaling) without requiring manual re-focusing of LinearMouse settings or switching the active device.

Anything else?

Attached is a LinearMouse log capturing a reproduction sequence: waking the computer from sleep to reproduce the sluggish mouse scrolling, scrolling briefly on the laptop's trackpad, and returning to the mouse, which exhibits a brief sensitivity burst before returning to normal. Logitech G HUB is installed and active on the computer.
