The issue points to docs/recipes/add-a-service.md and the Route 53 view PR; read docs/recipes/README.md first and wait until blocker #126 is merged. Add the CloudFront view with the fields, tags, palette entry, and selected row actions listed here, then add the requested unit tests and documentation updates. It is done when the view is reachable, fetch failures show a status, and the listed Rust checks pass.

Why

The locksley static site is served from CloudFront, and more frontends will follow. Note: locksley is not applied yet, so this view may be empty in the Fells account, which is fine.

Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md.

Steps

  1. Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md. New crate aws-sdk-cloudfront. It is global, so pin the client to us-east-1 like Route 53.
  2. Model DistributionInfo: ID, domain name, aliases, status, enabled, price class, web ACL ID, tags via list_tags_for_resource.
  3. Console: https://console.aws.amazon.com/cloudfront/v4/home#/distributions/<id>. CLI: aws cloudfront get-distribution --id <id>.
  4. Palette entry cloudfront with alias cdn.

  • CloudFront view reachable from the command palette
  • Rows carry tags: Tags
  • Describe, console pivot, and CLI pivot work on the selected row
  • A denied or failed fetch shows a status, not an empty table
  • Unit tests for the model helpers and the DescribableResource URLs and CLI command
  • README, docs/architecture.md, docs/aws-service-roadmap.md, and AGENTS.md updated
  • Changeset added (minor)
  • cargo fmt --all, cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings, and cargo test --all pass, with output pasted in the PR
