Hi Fabrice and QuickJS contributors,

I'm the creator of LordOS, an open-source Linux distribution based on Debian 13.

We're using QuickJS as the JavaScript runtime for our native desktop environment, together with a custom React renderer and a Wayland compositor written in C.

Unlike Electron-based desktops, our architecture doesn't require Chromium or a browser engine.

I wanted to share this real-world use case of QuickJS and ask a technical question:

Are there any particular limitations or recommended practices we should consider when using QuickJS as an embedded runtime for long-running desktop applications?

I'd especially appreciate feedback on memory management, runtime isolation, and long-term stability.
