Problem

.gitignore has 7101 lines. About 7000 of them list individual files under .venv/, and most of the rest list individual __pycache__ paths. This makes it hard to read and maintain.

Expected fix

Replace them with patterns, for example:

.venv/
__pycache__/
*.pyc
.pytest_cache/
.coverage
.vscode/
