Verify testnet Aave, USDC, and wallet-provider support before estimating the chain work. Done means testnet wallet creation and USDC transfers work, escrow uses Aave or the documented ledger fallback, and enabled x402 challenges advertise the network; add explorer links, tests, and documentation.

Summary

Add Arbitrum (testnet first) as a supported EVM chain for wallets, USDC transfers, Aave-based proposal escrow and x402 payments.

Motivation

Arbitrum is cheap, has Aave V3, and appears in Coinbase's wallet and facilitator network lists, so it should be mostly configuration once the registry exists.

Current state in this repo

  • Escrow addresses and USDC exist only for Base Sepolia in agentkit_service.py.

Proposal

  • Add the Arbitrum testnet and its stablecoin and Aave pool addresses to the registry (#2).
  • Confirm the wallet provider can create and sign for the network; extend the wallet creation endpoint to accept a network.
  • Enable the network in the multi-network x402 gateway (#5).
  • Add explorer links and tests.

Acceptance criteria

  • A wallet can be created, funded with testnet funds, and transfer USDC on the Arbitrum testnet.
  • A proposal can be funded and its escrow supplied to and withdrawn from the Aave pool on that testnet, if a pool exists there; otherwise the fallback (direct transfer plus ledger tracking) is documented and used.
  • x402 challenges advertise the network when enabled.

Out of scope

  • Mainnet.
