Research direction

Start with the Ruby connection configuration and the path that forwards options to GLIDE Core. Trace how existing TCP settings are represented and identify the relevant configuration tests. The change is complete when tcp_nodelay accepts true and false, preserves the current default when omitted, and is covered by tests for those cases.

Description

Feature Feature Parity
Description

Expose the GLIDE Core TCP NODELAY setting through Ruby connection configuration.

Current behavior

Ruby does not forward a TCP NODELAY option. GLIDE Core therefore uses its default of true, and Ruby users cannot disable it.

Parent tracking issue: #322

Acceptance criteria
  • Expose a tcp_nodelay connection option.
  • Accept both true and false.
  • Preserve the current default when the option is omitted.
