Research direction

Document the iproto.drop_stale_connections configuration option in the relevant configuration reference; the issue does not name a file, so first locate the existing iproto options documentation. Explain that it defaults to false and that enabling it drops connections on no-longer-listened URIs after replication reconnects with updated URIs, including SSL changes. Done when the option’s behavior and default are documented accurately.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

If iproto.drop_stale_connections is true (false by default) and
a configuration reload changes the URI (including its SSL parameters)
to connect to any instance of the replicaset, the incoming connections
accepted on the URIs that are no longer listened on (e.g. established
with the old SSL certificates) are dropped once the replication is
reconnected with the new URIs.
