Research direction

Start by locating the Layer() constructs and understanding how simulated multilayer networks represent their layers. Define and validate a network_view(), UnLayer(), or similar interface that supports both a single network with per-layer edge attributes and a list containing one network per layer; the issue names no files or tests.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

There out to be a convenient way to resplit, say, a simulated multilayer network into individual layers. It should probably have an output=c("attributes","list") argument, with the former producing a single network with an edge attribute for each layer and the latter producing a list of networks, one for each layer.
