Research direction

This issue is a thank-you note about the Debian installation experience, not a change request: the body names no bug, no file and no desired behaviour, so there is nothing for a contributor to implement. The only sensible next step is for a maintainer to reply and close it, or move it to a discussion thread. If the praise about Debian installs is meant to prompt anything, it would be a docs pass over the installation instructions, but that is a decision for the maintainer, not a task a newcomer can start from this text.

Description

I have nothing but praise for this open source project. It's one of the most well-thought-out pieces of software, and to top it off, the installation on Debian is simply A++. Really great job.
