Research direction

This is a reminder issue about allocator stabilization in Rust 1.100. Look for MSRV (Minimum Supported Rust Version) documentation or configuration files in the repository, such as README.md or Cargo.toml. The task is to note that future MSRV bumps should target Rust 1.100. Check if there are any existing version notes or comments about Rust version requirements to understand the context.

Description

good first issue help wanted r-docs

https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/156882 has been merged. The first stable Rust version with stabilized allocators is 1.100, which is due in November.

I don't think that this should influence API and feature design right now, but Rust 1.100 should obviously be the target for any future MSVR bump.

This issue is mostly a reminder.
