Research direction

Start by locating every monetary field and the code that allocates total giving amounts between causes, then trace the finalization flow. Done means cents are retained throughout allocation and finalization, including the two-cause example, without losing value.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Currently, the app tracks currency amounts in whole dollar amounts. We believe it's valuable to convert these fields to also track cents so we don't risk losing cents when changing allocations of total giving amounts.

e.g.

If total giving amount is $5 split between two causes, we may risk losing 50 cents twice for each cause, thereby losing $1 (or 20%) when finalizing these plans.
