Direção de pesquisa

The units appear in the docstrings of pvlib/temperature.py, which the issue links through the rendered module page. Read the parameter names and units section of the project's style guide first, then check whether the dot-separator question raised at the end of the issue has been settled. Done means the temperature docstrings use the units the guide specifies, with superscripts and the degree sign. Because the thread has been idle for over a year and the separator choice is unresolved, confirm the approach with maintainers before editing.

Descrição

Describe the bug
In pvlib.temperature, several units are missing unicode superscripts, and degrees Celsius are missing the °.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Visit documentation

Expected behavior
Units following the styling guide recommendations.

Versions:

  • pvlib.__version__: 13.0

Additional context
The styling guide mentions dni [Wm⁻²] as an example, but personally I think that units should be separated by ., because letters together usually relate to scale, like kW.
