Research direction

Start in the mobile app under apps/mobile and find the Threads tab's settled-thread confirmation and its Undo action. Compare its size, layout, and placement with the reported iPhone 17 behavior; done when the confirmation is compact and the thread list remains visible and usable.

Description

Area

apps/mobile

Steps to reproduce
  1. Open the Threads tab on an iPhone 17.
  2. Settle a thread.
  3. Look at the "Settled thread" notification.
Actual behavior

The notification is a large, nearly full-width box placed directly over the thread list. It covers the threads I'm trying to browse. There's a lot of empty space in the box, with Undo on a separate row, so a simple confirmation takes up far too much room.

Expected behavior

A compact confirmation with Undo, positioned so it keeps the thread list visible and usable.

Impact

Minor bug or occasional failure
