Research direction

The payload names no files, so start by searching the RootEncoder repository for its SRT code and any mention of rendezvous or connection mode. Confirm whether the SRT client sets up only caller-listener connections. Done means a maintainer-confirmed answer to whether rendezvous is supported, and, if not, a scoped feature request. The issue has been open for about 537 days with no assignee or pull request, so get a maintainer answer before writing code.

Description

enhancement

Hi @pedroSG94,

First, thank you for your work on RootEncoder—it’s a great library for streaming!

I’m exploring the SRT protocol support in RootEncoder and wanted to ask:

  1. Does the current implementation support SRT Rendezvous mode (bidirectional connection setup)?
  2. If not, are there plans to add this in the future?

Thank you for your time!
