Research direction

Start by locating the Windows app’s ChatGPT/Codex selector and the subtitle text, “Build, debug, and ship”; the issue does not identify the relevant file or test. Reproduce the clipping in the selector, then check the subtitle’s rendering at smaller text sizes. Done when the full “g” descender is visible and the subtitle remains readable.

Description

app bug windows-os
Image
Environment
  • Codex Windows app 26.930.41038
  • ChatGPT Pro 100
  • Dark mode
Steps to reproduce
  1. Open the ChatGPT/Codex selector in the upper-left corner of the app.
  2. Look at the Codex subtitle, “Build, debug, and ship”.
Actual behavior

The bottom of the “g” in “debug” is clipped. The word can look like “debuq”, making the subtitle confusing to read, particularly at smaller text sizes.

Expected behavior

The entire word and all letter descenders should be visible.
