Research direction

Start by reviewing the repository’s FOCUS export guidance and Azure Cost Management documentation for CSP billing and subscription level exports. Compare how the issue’s Actual Cost and Amortized Cost values map to FOCUS BilledCost and EffectiveCost. Done means confirming whether they should reconcile under CSP and documenting any relevant considerations or recommended filters; the issue names no files or tests.

Description

Needs: Triage 🔍

We are seeing cost differences when reconciling Azure Cost Management with FOCUS:

Actual Cost vs FOCUS BilledCost
Amortized Cost vs FOCUS EffectiveCost

Our Azure billing model is CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) , and we have configured the FOCUS exports at the individual subscription level.

Could you please confirm whether these values are expected to reconcile under CSP, and whether there are any CSP-specific considerations or recommended filters for this comparison?
