Research direction

Start by tracing Back navigation from Mix, Library, and Search to the Home page, then inspect how the selected navigation item is updated for those destinations. Reproduce on Android 11 using the listed steps and check the navigation UI after returning Home. Done when the Home page is displayed and its navigation button is selected.

Describe the Bug

When navigating to the Mix, Library, or Search page and pressing the device’s Back button, the app returns to the Home page, but the Home navigation button does not appear selected.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Navigate to the Mix, Library, or Search page.
  2. Press the device’s Back button.
  3. Observe that the app returns to the Home page.
  4. Check whether the Home navigation button is selected.
Expected Behavior

The selected navigation item should reflect the currently displayed page, so the Home button should be selected automatically when the app returns to Home.
