Research direction
The issue reports that the fix is already present on main and names tauri-plugin-single-instance, tray::open_main_window, and PR #156 as evidence. Read the release history and compare the 2.0.0 tag with main; the reported behavior is resolved in a 2.0.1 build, so verify that release includes the single-instance handling.

Description
What happened?
Launching SpeakType from the Start menu while it is already running in the system tray starts a second process. Each launch adds another tray icon and another global hotkey registration, and Task Manager shows multiple SpeakType.exe entries.
Expected the behaviour other tray apps have (Teams, Slack, etc.): the running copy comes to the front and no second process is created.
Steps to reproduce
- Install SpeakType 2.0.0 on Windows.
- Launch it, then close the window with X (the app stays running in the tray).
- Open Start, search "SpeakType" and open it again.
- Repeat step 3 a couple of times.
Which system? Windows
System version: Windows 11 26H2
SpeakType version: 2.0.0
Which model were you using? Any
Anything else?
The current source already registers tauri-plugin-single-instance as the first plugin and forwards the second launch to tray::open_main_window, but the 2.0.0 tag predates that (#156), so released builds have no single-instance handling at all.
Verified on a build from main: three rapid launches keep one process (same PID), and closing with X then relaunching re-shows the existing window instead of starting a new one. So this is a release gap rather than an open code bug — a 2.0.1 build should close it.
