What

The new-plugin skill (.claude/skills/new-plugin/SKILL.md) is out of date in two places:

  • It fixes author.name in plugin.json to "Unic AG". The Unic AI Artefact Marketplace shows that field as the card's owner. terse-orwell names its maintainer there, so the template should say when a person's name is the right value.
  • It says the plugin-level CLAUDE.md is not a symlink. auto-format, unic-learning-loop and terse-orwell all use a CLAUDE.md that is a symlink to AGENTS.md.

Why

An agent that scaffolds a plugin follows the template, so it repeats both stale rules.

Acceptance criteria

  • The skill states how to choose author.name, and that the marketplace card shows it as the owner.
  • The skill describes the plugin-level CLAUDE.md the way the existing plugins use it.
