Start by reviewing the existing spaces list on the left and how top-level spaces are opened. Trace the current Matrix space navigation, then determine how nested spaces should be represented in a tree-like view. Done means users can show and navigate nested spaces from the spaces list.

I have a lot of nested spaces in my Matrix account.
Hereby I would suggest that Robrix supports showing and navigating them easily, e.g. in the spaces list on the left that one can open a top level space when there are sub-spaces and then there is a tree-like view of spaces (like in a file browser).
