調査の方向性

The payload names no files, so start by finding where the line counter is drawn for plain-text documents and where the app's existing user settings are defined. Add a preference that turns the counter off for .txt files, and check that the setting is read when a text file opens. Done when the toggle exists, defaults to the current behaviour, and hides the counter for .txt files. The issue has no comments, so confirm the intended default with the maintainers first.
