調査の方向性

Start by tracing the named transpose, zip, unzip, and related permutes to their tagged-function implementations. Review the Intel wireless software pack/unpack routines as the issue's optimization reference; the work is done when selected permutes have optimized implementations with demonstrated faster behavior, especially for masked operations.

説明

enhancement performance

The named permutes defer to tagged functions so we could provide optimised versions of some permutes. For example, certain sizes of transposes can be implemented more efficiently than the compiler can achieve by itself (especially true for masked operations).

Examples of faster transposes are the pack/unpack routines from Intel's wireless software.
