Workshop file reviewed
workshop/side-quest-17-06-output-injection.md (reviewed together with side-quest-17-05-supply-chain-mcp.md and side-quest-17-07-repo-poisoning.md; the other two had no accuracy issues). Checked against gh-aw release v0.92.0.
Problem
The file links to hard-coded line ranges in actions/setup/js/add_comment.cjs on main, and they no longer point at the described code:
add_comment.cjs#L582-L650,#L582-L583("therequired-labelstarget check") and#L646-L650("comment sanitization and limits")
In the current main file (1184 lines), lines 582-583 and 646-650 are inside handleAddComment setup and comment-ID/target resolution code. They do not contain the label check or sanitization.
Current behaviour
- The
required-labelsfilter (does not match required-labels filter) is at about lines 724-762. sanitizeContent(processedBody, ...)is at about line 817.- Mention and link limits come from
comment_limit_helpers.cjs(enforceCommentLimits). required-labelsis still valid and is documented as "ALL must match" inpkg/workflow/safe_outputs_parser.go.
Suggested fix
- Update the line anchors in the details block (line 70) and in the "Inspect the Validation Source" exercise (lines 92-94) to the current locations.
- Better, pin the links to a release tag or commit SHA instead of
mainso they stay stable. Alternatively, link to the file without line anchors and tell learners to search forrequired-labelsandsanitizeContent. - Line 93 says the check is "
required-labelstarget check". The text could also note that all listed labels must be present.
