Bug: resizing tabbed window doesnt resize

The payload names no source files, so start by reproducing the report: open two tabbed windows beside a tiled one in a GNOME Shell session with the Forge extension, then drag the tabbed group's border. Find where Forge handles border-drag resizing for tabbed containers and why the size reverts on release while the adjacent untabbed window resizes correctly. Done means the tabbed group keeps its new size after release, verified by manual reproduction.

when trying to resize a tabbed window the size change does not stick and the tabbed group goes back to its original size after release.
switching to the adjacent, untabbed window, and resizing it (which would also resize the intended tabbed window group) works as one would expect

Steps to reproduce

Open 3 windows, 2 tabbed together, and a 3rd tiled next to it (I tried to the side but believe above or below produce the same result).
focus on the top tabbed window and try resizing with border click drag, the preview resizes but snaps back to original size one release.
focus on the untabbed adjacent window and try resizing with border click and drag, and the windows resize as expected.
