What Happened?
Double-tapping and dragging with the touchpad or pressing Shift+ArrowKeys moves the cursor around instead of selecting the text.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open code and start editing a file.
- With Code still in focus, lock the screen — it should turn off.
- Wake the screen and unlock your session. Code should be focused.
- Try to select any text on the document you've opened.
To recover the functionality, switch focus to another app and return to Code (e.g. Alt+Tab).
Expected Behavior
Text selection should work.
As far as I know, other apps that frequently contain text or forms (e.g. Firefox, Thunderbird) don't exhibit this problem.
