Run flashpoint ingest first.' in the Draft robot setup view, and from the 'Robot for <season>' check message, then run flashpoint serve on a blank lake to reproduce. Done means both messages show a copy-ready flashpoint ingest --lake <this lake> <folder> command with a one-line explanation, a link to the guide, and a 'refresh after import' hint, and the season check offers 'Draft one from a log'. Leave the open question about a UI import action for the maintainers to decide.

Found walking through setup on a blank lake and blank config (flashpoint serve on main at 8369dff).
What happens
Setup › Draft robot is the fast path for a new team (#24), but on a blank lake it says only:
No imported logs yet. Run flashpoint ingest first.
There's no hint of what to pass to ingest, which folder or files it wants, or which lake and config it will use. A student who has never used the CLI is stuck. The Robot for 2026 check has the same problem: it says "add a robot file to …/robots", while the easier route is Draft robot.
Expected (small fix, keeps imports on the CLI)
- The empty state gives the exact command for this server's lake and config, ready to copy:
flashpoint ingest --lake <this lake> <folder with a match's .wpilog and .hoot files>, with one line on what the folder is (a match's logs from the robot USB stick,acquire, or a Drive download), plus a link to the guide. - It says when to come back: refresh after the import finishes.
- The Robot for check offers "Draft one from a log" (a link to the tab) next to "add a robot file".
Open question (challenges an earlier decision)
#24 lists "editing lake data from the UI" as a non-goal, and #19 and #23 keep re-import on the CLI. A guarded Import a folder fix action (ADR-0017 style, local only, read-only when shared) would remove the only CLI step in first-time setup. Worth deciding on purpose rather than by default.
