調査の方向性

まず、PATCH /settings ハンドラーと newsLink の検証をたどり、特に sanitiseAndValidateUrl の呼び出しを確認します。空の場合に newsLink を null として送信する設定ページのコードも調べてください。既存の検証テストを確認し、空の値と空でない値を対象とするテストを追加します。空の newsLink が null として受け入れられ、空でない値は引き続き検証され、ニュースリンクなしで設定を保存できれば完了です。

説明

admin-client backend bug

PATCH /settings passes every newsLink it receives through sanitiseAndValidateUrl, and @braintree/sanitize-url turns null and '' into about:blank, which fails urlRegex, so the request gets a 422. The settings page always sends newsLink, as null when the field is empty. So an admin can't clear the news link once it's set, and an organisation without one (the schema default) can't save any setting from that page.

The participant portal treats "no news link" as valid (#598): the menu hides News, and /news redirects home. Clearing worked until #862 added the check for #860.

Fix: accept an empty newsLink as null, and only check non-empty values.
