Found 2026-10-15 (Linux, test-912 build, QE silicon calculation). The Log pane at the bottom is collapsed when the window opens. Once expanded:
- its collapse button no longer collapses it;
- it occupies only the left half of the bottom area, and the right half stays empty.
Not release-critical.
