Start by reproducing with two or more accounts, one of them a DAVx5 CardDAV address book, then find where the app's account filter setting is read and applied to the list of contact folders. Done means the folders for hidden accounts no longer appear, and the visible folders show correct contact counts when opened. The thread has gone quiet for about eight months with no linked pull request, so confirm with a maintainer that the bug still reproduces before starting.

Steps to reproduce the bug
I have multiple Davx5 accounts with address books. When I filter these accounts in Fossify Contacts, i.e., hide them, the folders are not hidden. They first display the number of contacts, and when you open the folder, it is empty. After that, the number of contacts is displayed as 0.
Expected behavior
Folders are hidden or displayed according to the accounts.
Actual behavior
When I filter the accounts in Fossify Contacts, the folders are not hidden.
