Why
@deepfirstsearch/order-guard enforces owner-set limits on agents that place real orders (approved stores, pinned delivery address, order/tip caps, daily budget, single-use previews). It is tested against an in-memory preview → submit service. DoorDash announced agent ordering on 2026-09-30 (a corporate ordering MCP and dd-cli, both private beta, US/Canada). Their docs: only call submit_order after explicit confirmation, because it charges the card.
What
When we (or a contributor) have beta access: an OrderBackend adapter that maps preview / submit to DoorDash's tools (find_restaurants, add_to_cart, preview_order, submit_order, clear_cart), with:
- a dry-run test using
preview_order+clear_cartonly; - one real order on our own account, documented with the guard refusing an injected address and an over-cap order.

Don't automate the website or app: DoorDash's terms only allow their official MCP/CLI. Independent project, not affiliated with DoorDash.
