Related but not identical records:

Debian/Ubuntu declare the Qt 6 SQLite driver (libqt6sql6-sqlite) as a dependency of qbittorrent and qbittorrent-nox, so users do not encounter this error by default.

I did not find a Void-specific report for this exact package.

Expected behaviour

qBittorrent should work out of the box for its built-in SQLite resume data storage: the Qt SQL driver list should not be empty, and enabling SQLite resume data storage should not produce a driver-loading error.

If the maintainer prefers to keep the plugin optional, an INSTALL.msg noting that qt6-plugin-sqlite is required for SQLite resume data storage would also prevent users from encountering an unexplained empty driver list.

Actual behaviour

With qbittorrent-5.3.0_1 installed and qt6-plugin-sqlite not installed, the following message appears at runtime:

qt.sql.qsqldatabase: QSqlDatabase: can not load requested driver 'QSQLITE', available drivers:

The “available drivers:” list is empty. Installing qt6-plugin-sqlite-6.11.2_1 removes the message, and SQLite-based resume data storage then works correctly.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Install qbittorrent on Void without installing qt6-plugin-sqlite.
  2. Start qbittorrent or qbittorrent-nox and leave it running.
  3. After roughly 30–60 minutes, observe the QSQLITE driver not loaded message with an empty driver list.
  4. Install qt6-plugin-sqlite-6.11.2_1, restart qBittorrent, and confirm the message no longer appears and SQLite resume data storage works.

Separately, and possibly unrelated: the UI/WebUI becomes unresponsive while transfers continue normally. This also occurs with qbittorrent-nox, so it is not GUI-specific. Causality with the missing driver is not confirmed; this is mentioned only as context.
